March 1, 2010. Girls’ Nite Out morphed into an afternoon out, after snowstorms led to a date change. It was a fun, social event, and great to get back in the groove of being out “with the public.” Sewing and designing are such solitary practices, and it’s always a bit anxiety producing, wondering how people will respond to my work. But it was a busy day, and the response to the table display and all the spring color was quite positive. I have a few photos of my own table, but completely failed at capturing the other vendors. Especially fun was the company of my friend, Sarah of Three Seeds Naturals, at her first event. AND, my poor, damaged hands are almost completely healed after a few doses of her Ultra Moisturizing Cream. Now, onward! The next event is in four weeks, and I have a little idea bubbling up about Easter baskets for grown-ups…
